Good for the eyes, the heart, and the palate, the food tradition of Mount Altissimo and of Barissimo, the bar at the start of the ski lifts, is in full display. Both locations showcase authentic local products and attention to nature with the use of biodegradable, eco-friendly containers.


Borno ski school

In Borno’s mountains, you can take your first steps on the snow. Scuola Italiana Sci di Borno offers ski and snowboard lessons for people of all ages and skill levels, with specific attention to disabled people. Qualified instructors and ski federation trainers will teach you how to safely move on the snow and will support you as you perfect your style. The ski school camp is well equipped, with conveyor belt and a 4-seat chairlift.

How to reach Borno – Monte Altissimo Ski Area

The Borno – Monte Altissimo ski area is about 60 km from Brescia and Bergamo and just over 100 km from Milan. To reach the area, follow state road SS42 in the direction of Edolo – Ponte di Legno. Take the Cividate Camuno exit. One in Malegno, turn left and take state road no. 5. Drive up for 10 km until you reach Borno.
