Cooking Experience at the winery
In the kitchen among Franciacorta’s vineyards
Cooking experience in the enchanting town of Monticelli Brusati, in the heart of Franciacorta, a region known for its sparkling wine and extraordinary landscape. Participants will be hosted by Castelveder winery, a family-owned producer of high-quality wines. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the winery and learn about the secrets of the Franciacorta production method. They will also enjoy a relaxing walk among the vineyards led by the young company owner. All this will be accompanied by a tasting of the different Castelveder-branded wines.
Afterwards, guests will engage in an exciting cooking experience to prepare traditional Italian dishes with the best local ingredients. The cooking class will start with a glass of “bollicine” as aperitif paired with a local cheese. Participants will be challenged with the preparation of three dishes: two home-made pasta dishes like casoncelli (the traditional local ravioli) and tagliatelle, and a traditional Italian dessert.
Lunch will be held in the cozy winery room and will consist in the dishes prepared during class paired with two other Castelveder wines.
