The experience

Colmetto farm is an oasis. This is how Roberta imagined it when, in 2014, she started this ambitious project. Thanks to her passion and to journey of constant growth, she was able to create this innovative space. Today, this north-south oriented plot of land has fruit trees, vineyards, grazing animals, a farm, and a restaurant. The farm produces meat, milk, goat cheeses, fruit, vegetables, wine, and wood. Roberta and her passionate team have embraced the “closed cycle” philosophy and firmly believe in preserving the well-being of animals and nature.
What more could you wish for? Just talking about it makes it feel like going there (and staying there!)
So, enjoy your visit and discover the strong connection that Colmetto people have with their land, which is the force that drives them. We will meet everyone and learn everything about the farm, cowshed, milking, goats, and the dairy business. We will listen to music in the barn – it’s all true, and you will find out why – and, with our touch, we will turn milk into cheese.
Finally, when you taste the cheese, you will experience its best feature. This tasting will be led by the master dairyman who will explain the processing technique and differences between cheese types. Everything is accompanied by a glass of Franciacorta wine and the magic surrounding this oasis. It’s an emotion to share.
