Consecrated in 1647, the basilica church presents unique architectural solutions for the time and a rich decorative collection by renowned artists. In the Most Blessed Sacrament chapel are kept two spectacular canvases measuring 10×5.5 metres made by Giovan Battista Tiepolo, a master painter from the Veneto region known for its use of colours.
