2 days at the discovery of Franciacorta wine
A 2-day food&wine itinerary solely dedicated to learning about the history and characteristics of Franciacorta wine. Participants will enjoy a fantastic culinary workshop, alternating it with outdoor activities aimed at discovering the land of “bollicine” (bubbles).
Day 1: Welcome to Franciacorta
Check-in at Franciacorta Country Lodges
h 19:00 Meeting with all the participants in the hall for a welcome aperitif, followed by a dinner with blind tasting with our expert sommelier. Guests will engage in a historical overview of Franciacorta and the organoleptic characteristics of its wine; they will learn how to recognise it, what differentiates it from French champagne, and how to taste it.
At the end, they will receive a travel journal with all the information that was shared and a detailed description of how to make cheese at home, with recipes.
Day 2: Discover the secrets of cheese making
h 9:00 Rich continental buffet breakfast with sweet and savoury products made by Franciacorta Country Lodges.
h 10:00 In the kitchen, ready for an all-about-cheese experience. From tuma to ricotta, from fresh provola to caciocavallo. Tasting of the cheeses that were just produced and hands-on activity with detailed explanation about all the techniques.
