The experience

Marta and Tommaso, partners in life and at work, turned their big passion for hand-made leather objects into a profitable business. Their dream led to “El Mato”. Here, their inner artist can express their love for beauty and achieve their aspirations. They make bags.
These are designer products, created with a precise, accurate style which nevertheless leaves space for the artist’s unique touch. They love simple things, clean and light shapes which enhance the high quality of their leather, tanned with plant-based products through a certified method.
Different kinds of leather and materials, each with their own story. Different techniques and many customizable products. This and much more await us in their workshop, where we will learn tricks and secrets of this art. It’s here that we will start working as leather artisans to manufacture a key ring or wallet, or another accessory that Marta and Tommaso will propose. We will make it together choosing the colour, working on the seams, and adding our initials. It’s a small hand-made masterpiece made on the shores of Lake Garda.
