Getting around Brescia by light rail

Brescia’s new automatic light rail has been operating since 2013. It connects the north and south-east sides of the city passing from the city centre, the train station, and the main hospitals.

The service runs from 5am to 12am, with trains every 4 to 6 minutes during rush hours and 7 to 10 minutes in the evening and weekends.

Zone 1 fare: € 1,70 individual ticket, € 15 10-ride ticket (one ticket is valid for 90 minutes). 24-hour pass: € 3,80. Children up to 1 m of height travel free of charge.

Tickets can be purchased at the vending machines located in the stations, at the tobacconist’s, infopoint offices, on the app DropTicket or Bresciapp!, and through the service Travel with a BEEP. They are valid on the light rail and buses.
