Getting around Brescia by bike

Brescia is more and more sustainable! The city has an ever-growing system of bike lanes which enable bikers to easily move through the city centre and reach the surrounding villages and towns.

Bike sharing in Brescia

Bicimia is Brescia’s bike sharing service (bicimia.bresciamobilita.it, tel. +39 030 3061200 from 7:30am to 10pm). It enables you to rent a bike, use it for as long as you need, and leave it at any bike stations in the city. Currently, there are 83 active bike sharing stations throughout the city, 5 of which also offer pedal assisted bikes (Stazione, Arnaldo, S. Faustino, Zanardelli, Branze). To use this service, you need to enroll at the Infopoint of Via Trieste 1 or Via della Stazione 47a, or at one of the four city parking lots (Fossa Bagni, Vittoria, Ospedale nord, Stazione). Upon enrollment, you will receive the Omnibus Card, an electronic card necessary to unlock and lock the bikes.

For the little ones, there is a dedicated service called BicinaMia. It is reserved to children from 5 to 12 years old (www.bresciamobilita.it/green/bicinamia; bikes can be rented at the Bike Point in Largo Formentone and Infopoint in Via Trieste 1). To use this service, you need to be a Bicimia subscriber.

Cost of Bicimia service: free up to 45 minutes, € 1 from 45 min to 2 hours, € 2 from 2 to 3 hours, € 5 over 3 hours.

Alternatively, Bike Station in Piazzale della Stazione offers a rental service for traditional bikes (www.bresciamobilita.it/green/bike-station, +39 030 3061224, € 1 up to 2 hours, € 2 from 2 to 5 hours, € 4 daily flat fee).
