Via Forno Fusorio, 1 - Tavernole sul Mella

The furnace in Tavernole (15th century) is one of the most important monuments of industrial archaeology in the Brescia region. The museum describes the history of charcoal-based iron and steel industry. The museum also contains the “Ganzola” collection, which includes objects representing the noble art of “ferrarezze” – iron work – in the 16th 19th centuries.

  • From 18 September to 30 April (Sundays and holidays): from 3:00pm to 6:00pm
  • May, June, July, and from 4 to 11 September (Sundays and holidays): from 3:00pm to 7:00pm
  • August – Saturdays, Sunday, and holidays: 3:00pm – 7:00pm

Tickets: Full price € 3.00; Reduced € 2.00 (7-18 years old, over 60, members of the military, groups of 15 paying people or more).
