The furnace in Tavernole (15th century) is one of the most important monuments of industrial archaeology in the Brescia region. The museum describes the history of charcoal-based iron and steel industry. The museum also contains the “Ganzola” collection, which includes objects representing the noble art of “ferrarezze” – iron work – in the 16th 19th centuries.
