The furnace in Tavernole (15th century) is one of the most important monuments of industrial archaeology in the Brescia region. The museum describes the history of charcoal-based iron and steel industry. The museum also contains the “Ganzola” collection, which includes objects representing the noble art of “ferrarezze” – iron work – in the 16th 19th centuries.
Tickets: Full price € 3.00; Reduced € 2.00 (7-18 years old, over 60, members of the military, groups of 15 paying people or more). Free children 0-6 years old, people with disabilities, residents in the municipalities participating in Trompia Valley Museum System: Bovegno, Bovezzo, Brione, Caino, Collio, Concesio, Gardone V.T., Irma, Lodrino, Marcheno, Marmentino, Nave, Pezzaze, Polaveno, Sarezzo, Tavernole s/Mella, Villa Carcina, Ome.
