The magic of Opera in Brescia’s iconic places

Every year on May Brescia fills with notes and emotions thanks to Festa dell’Opera, the one-of-a-kind event that celebrates Opera! The most famous arias will be performed in the city’s iconic places.

The format, as usual, will feature over 40 free musical events from dawn to dusk, which will take place in Brescia’s evocative and best known corners: cultural sites, cloisters, courtyards, churches, innovative art centres, and even locations on the outskirts of the city centre.

Once again, the best Opera artists will offer engaging performances which encompass musical genres to include jazz, EM, rock, and contemporary music. Everybody will therefore have the opportunity to approach Opera from different angles and enjoy the fun, yet evocative atmosphere.
