Monastero di San Pietro in Lamosa (Monastery)

Donated to the Cluny monastic order in 1083, the complex dominating Torbiere del Sebino Peat Bog Nature Reserve is a charming, intimate place built in Romanesque style and composed of a church, a disciplina and a cloister. The room which used to be the seat of the Disciplini Confraternity boasts beautiful 16th century frescoes.

  • Monday- Friday: afternoon 2:30pm-5:00pm
  • Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays: 9:00am-12:00pm / 2:00pm-6:00pm
  • Monday-Friday morning upon reservation for groups

Disciplina and Cloister

  • April to October: every day 9:00am-12:00pm / 3:00pm-6:00pm
  • November to March: every day 9:00am-12:00pm / 2:00pm-5:00pm

It is recommended that groups reserve in advance.
