
Brescia and its province are widely recognised as a land of great culinary tradition and artistry. This year as well, several restaurants and pastry shops were listed in the most accredited national food guides. Here they are.
From the city to Lake Garda. From Franciacorta to Brescia’s plain. Several restaurants across the province are included in the 2021 edition of Gambero Rosso, the Italian restaurant guide. Tied for first, with three forks each, are Miramonti L’Altro in Concesio, the reign of Chef Philippe Léveillé, and Lido 84 in Gardone Riviera, led by Chef Riccardo Camanini.
Among the new entries are Il Colmetto in Rodengo Saiano which obtained two forks. Sedicesimo Secolo in Orzinuovi, Q.B. Duepuntuzero in Salò, and Tancredi in Sirmione move from one star to two stars.
In the other categories, Brescia has also shined with 8 trattorias and 5 bistros mentioned.

The prestigious Michelin Guide confirms last year’s recognitions: there are 59 awarded restaurants in Lombardy, the Italian region with the most stars. Among these, there are 13 Brescian restaurants:
