From grapes to goblet: an authentic Capriano del Colle DOC

The experience

The Lazzari family has embraced the philosophy of organic agriculture for a long time. They define their family as “wine makers since 1890”. They believe in an approach where the differentiating factor is the cultural aspect, because through research and development it contributes to continuously improving the final product.
It is by starting from the terroir and focusing more on field activities rather than operations in the cellar that you obtain a consistent, award-winning product. The wine cellar has to take care of maintaining the wine, but it is in the vineyard that the quality of the raw material is determined.
Our visit will start exactly from there, between the vine lines and their changing green shades depending on the season. It will continue in the winery with a narration about the family and its wine. We will have the opportunity to taste this wine paired with local cured meats and cheese, to showcase the region where these products come from.
Davide and Giordano are the young family heirs; they have embraced this family tradition and will offer us a taste of it, because they are convinced that culture is a value and as such needs to be shared.
